History of Golden Retrievers

Goldens are one of the most popular dog breeds in the US and for good reason. They are friendly, trustworthy and always eager to please their owners. They adore outdoor play, especially if it involves a game of fetch or a romp in the swimming pool. Energetic and overflowing with joy, a Golden will become an instant member of the family. They also make great service dogs because they are gentle, easy to train, and love making their humans happy.

Lily.Leo.Dog puppies are handled and socialized from an early age. Aside from health testing all of our dogs, emphasis on puppy socialization and puppy evaluations are made.
We start socializing them almost immediately after they are born. We use ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction) to give your puppy the best start at life.
At around 6 weeks of age we then do puppy evaluations. The evaluation are what tells us about the puppies personality by scoring specific traits. This information will help you choose a puppy that best fits your lifestyle.
They are introduced to new sights, sounds, smells, music and socialization.
They will be around the older dogs that we will slowly start to encourage play and exercise.
They interact with toys and objects that will consist of having different textures. This is needed to helps stimulate their senses and utilize the outdoors for exercise.
When it comes to the puppies feeding schedule once we have hit the 5 week mark of age we introduce puppy formula in order to jump start the Mothers weening process and practice their skills on their own. We then begin to add wet puppy food making a "PUPPY MUSH".
Once the puppies have got to their 7th week we introduce them to dry puppy food that is soaked with water for the first few days to help with the chewing and digestion.
All of this is implemented while they are still nursing on mom from time to time for feeding and in order to build up immunity and receive the proper nutrients.
Overall, by the time you pick up your Lily.Leo.Dog bloodline puppy, he/she will be well socialized, weened and ready for their new fur-ever homes!!

All of Lily.Leo.Dog 8 week old puppies will go to their "FUR-EVER" home with the following included:
1. Personal copy of all contracts and family bloodline
2. All puppies come with their first round of Puppy Shots which will include all of the following
(Canine Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenz, Leptospirosis, Parvo, & Bordatella)
3. Microchip
4. Personal Health Certificate by a licensed Vet
5. A bag of food
6. Lily Leo Dog approved treats and toys
7. A blanket with moms scent

The Lily.Leo.Dog process
Rest assure we try to make this process as simple as possible. We appreciate your business and loyalty and you should expect the same from us as well. We pride ourselves and honor to provide your family with all the information needed.
From the first time that you reach out, to the time of meeting your puppy, we are right there with you through the process.
Legally we can not sell you the puppy until the full 8 weeks are complete so through out this time we will be communicating with you on a regular basis which will include sending updates leading up to the puppies’ birth, giving advice on which puppy to select based on temperament preferences, sending photos of their puppy, and facilitating FaceTime, zoom meeting calls as well as face to face meet and greets.
Once you have picked out your puppy (via video chat or scheduled appointment during normal business hours) you will also pick out your puppies special collar that you want them to have for the remainder of the 8 weeks. This is to help identify your puppy from the rest of the litter and a fun way to bond with your puppy.
We will only provide face to face meet and greets once your deposit is received. The reason behind this is so that not just anyone will be allowed to touch or play with your puppy and also so that your puppy will have the ability to build up their immunity. As always the puppies health and safety always comes first!
